Frequently asked

When is the best time to capture my maternity session?

Maternity sessions ideally occur between 28 to 34 weeks of your pregnancy.

Are you trained in newborn safety?

Absolutely! I’ve taken numerous workshops and mentorships with photographers around the world and stay up to date on the latest safety standards. Your baby’s health and safety is my #1 priority. I take my job very seriously and have received extensive training on how to safely pose and transition babies during the session process.

How long do newborn sessions take?

If you are booking a Deluxe or Heirloom session expect to spend 2-3 hours at my studio. Your baby is in charge and I never rush my newborn sessions. If your baby is awake or hungry we will take breaks to make sure baby is comfortable and resting. Wrapped sessions typically take about one hour since baby is swaddled the entire time.

What is the turnaround time on my images?

You will receive your gallery images online within 2-3 weeks of your session date.

When is the best time to capture my newborn’s session?

Newborn sessions ideally take place between 1-3 weeks of birth and are done in my studio. We don’t schedule your actual session date/time until your baby is born. However, it’s best to book your due date with me during your first to second trimester of pregnancy to ensure availability as I only accept a certain number of newborns each month.

Do I need to bring any outfits or props to my newborn session?

No, I provide all outfits, props, blankets, backdrops, bonnets, headbands, etc for your newborn session. The only items you need to bring with your baby is diapers, wipes, pacifier and milk.

My baby is already born, is it too late to schedule a newborn session?

If I have an opening on my calendar I am happy to accommodate.

Where do the sessions take place?

Your session will take place in my studio which is located in Queen Creek, Arizona.
